Seychelle's Ionic Adsorption Micron Filters are the most laboratory and field-tested of their kind in the world using EPA/ANSI protocols and NSF Standards 42 and 53.

Seychelle Standard Filter

The Standard filter is ideal for any in or out-door use; like traveling, hiking, biking, camping, fishing or for emergency purposes. It can be used with any type of water source; tap or rainwater, rivers, streams or even lakes (Excluding salt water).

It removes up to 99.99% of contaminants and pollutants found in fresh water supplies including Aesthetics such as chlorine, Sediment and dirt; Biologicals such as Giardia, Cryptosporidium, E-Coli Bacteria; Chemicals (VOC’S) such as DDT, MTBE, Benzene, Chloroforms (THM'S); and Dissolved Solids (Heavy metals) such as Arsenic, Lead, Mercury, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum and Chromium 6.

Seychelle Fast Flow Filter

The Seychelle fast flow filter is found in our stainless steel water bottles which makes tap water taste great; and is a perfect replacement for bottled water. The filter removes up to 99.99% of chlorine, chemicals (VOC’s) and heavy metals; and with the addition of BIOSAFE®, removes bacteria by up to 99.99%. It is designed to be used with a chlorinated water source and not as an outdoor product if you want to drink from rivers, lakes or streams. It produces up to 50 gallons of filtered water.

Seychelle Advanced Filter

The Advanced filter is made of the same media as the Standard filter with the addition of EPA approved iodinated resin (EPA Reg #: 35917-2) which has been proven effective in the removal of bacteria and virus to six logs (99.9999%). BIOSAFE®

Seychelle has added BIOSAFE® antimicrobial media to all Seychelle filters. Seychelle has been granted a worldwide exclusive license for BIOSAFE®. It is safe, non-toxic, non-leaching and is EPA, FDA and NSF approved. Molecularly bonded to our filters it acts like a "pincushion" of molecules that disrupt and rupture the cell structures of water borne micro-organisms. Its biostatic effect reduces bacteria to four logs or 99.99%. BIOSAFE® is colorless, tasteless, natural and odorless, has an indefinite shelf life and is NSF passed.

Filter Capacity and Time to Change Filters

Most Seychelle filters deliver up to 100 gallons of great-tasting, clean water before they need to be changed. This is equal to up to 757 half liters of bottled water! The time to change any filter is when the water flow becomes greatly diminished, and it is difficult to squeeze it through the filter bottle. The filters should not be used with salt water.

Maintenance

Seychelle filters have an indefinite shelf life. For prolonged storage, follow these simple steps:

1. Fill the bottle with chlorinated water made by mixing half tsp of chlorine with one US gallon of water. Run this through the system and then rinse and flush with filtered water.
2. Allow the bottle/filter assembly to dry overnight unassembled.
3. Re-assemble the bottle/filter.

You may now store the product for any length of time.
