Testimonials on Seychelle Water Filtering Technology

UK Supreme Commandos

Expedition Nepal Dragon 12/3/98

"Trials were conducted on Expedition Nepal Dragon of the self-filtering water bottle from 1 November to 26 November, 98. Five members tested the bottles and all found the concept an excellent one and saw many practical applications for such equipment. The test was completed during an arduous 25-day trek at altitude in the Everest Region of Nepal. During this trek, water consumption was very high and dehydration was a major concern. The ability to safely utilize any available water source was therefore an excellent way to reduce our dependence on prepared water... It was safe, and very convenient and all gained confidence in its use as the expedition progressed."

"... Seychelle filter canteens are a hit in the Thai-Burma border region. I was immediately asked for 1,000 more by ethnic leaders. In the fall of 2006, we delivered 110 olive drab canteens to Free Burma Rangers (FBR), an American led faith-based non-governmental organization, which provides humanitarian relief to Burmese hill tribes oppressed by the military dictatorship in Burma. Seychelle canteens are a critical enabler to this end.

Letter From US Senator Orrin G. Hatch 9/9/05

Since our Marines are engaged in military operations abroad, Mr. Palmer and his company hope to enhance the Corps capabilities by improving upon existing water filtrations systems. I was particularly intrigued by the company’s development of filtration systems designed to purify water that might be contaminated with chemical weapons. The capability to eliminate such contaminants might be of special interest to the 4th Anti-Terrorism Brigade. As indicated in Seychelle's materials, four laboratories have documented the impressive testing results that the purification filters have achieved.

We have had the privilege to supply water bottles to several missions in Guatemala, Sudan, Nicaragua and now China. One group had a large filtration system that failed in the field. They used one water bottle to filter all the water for 10 people for two weeks. They were absolutely amazed and thankful that they had the ultimate H2O bottle with them. People were getting sick using the other filter, but everything was fine with the ultimate H2O bottle!

Camp Bastion, Afghanistan 6/5-07

From a serving UK soldier got a text from my cus at Camp Bastion. He’s a medic. The filter system saved lives in the field hospital because they had a pump breakdown over 72 hours without fresh water. So, he started to filter it!

"...The Seychelle flip top bottle proved to be a dynamic piece of equipment. Our team collected water from clear running streams to silty brown ponds. This was absolutely the best tasting water on the trip. I was so impressed I have made the bottle part of my regular ultra-light backpacking equipment.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to incorporate the lifesaving technology of your superb water filters on my recent trip to Nicaragua. On this particular mission, I joined the Northwest Medical Team to assist in any way possible following the devastation of Hurricane Mitch. These filters saved our lives, I am sure, in two ways; firstly, giving us peace of mind and spirit knowing the excellence and quality; secondly, providing the pure H2O we were able to drink.
