We have been extremely happy with all the Seychelle filters that we have purchased over the years! They generally last a long time with no taste of anything remaining in the water as well as no smell ever in the shower filter!

Our tap water without a filter is extremely high in chlorine taste and smell along with several chemicals we are aware of added to it deliberately for purposes that are not needed in our area. We spoke to our city water department before finding Seychelle and they sent a water department employee to the house to measure the chlorine. He said it was much higher than other areas in the city and had no idea why they had made it so strong. So yes call your city and water department and have them check your level and if there’s any at all, I recommend that you contact Seychelle an order one of their countertop pictures as well as their shower filter unit immediately.
